  • Atlantic Wallboard Rock Unloading Project: Electrical and Instrumentation design for a Rock Unloading Facility at Atlantic Wallboard Ltd. This involved the complete design for the power distribution, motor control, instrumentation, control system design and building services. Also responsible for the construction supervision and commissioning and startup of the plant

  • Irving Pulp and Paper Ltd White Liquor Tank Upgrade: Electrical and Instrumentation design for new White Liquor Tank. This involved motor control, tray design, instrument selection and DCS wiring.

  • Irving Pulp and Paper Soot Blower Upgrade: Electrical and Instrumentation design for Soot Blower System on Recovery Boiler. This involved new PLC Control System and Motor Control Panels for 78 Soot Blowers. Also responsible for construction supervision and shut down scheduling.

  • Heath Steele Mine: Providing on-going technical support for PLC and HMI programming

  • St Leonard Sawmill Biomass Boiler Project: Electrical and Instrumentation design for a $30 million dollar biomass boiler project. This involved the complete design for the power distribution, motor control, instrumentation, control system design and building services. Responsible for PLC and HMI Programming.  Also responsible for the construction supervision and commissioning and startup of the plant

  • Cavendish Farms Limited: Electrical and Instrumentation design for new equipment installation. Provided site supervision for this installation. Responsible for PLC and HMI programming of miscellaneous conveyor systems for this new equipment.

  • Atlantic Wallbord Limited: Design of Controls and Instrumentation for HVAC equipment. Designed PLC cabinets for Balance of Plant controls. PLC and HMI programming for Balance of Plant and HVAC equipment.
  • Xstrata Heath Steele Chandlers Pond Pumpstation: PLC programming and commissioning for new pump station
  • McCain Foods Limited (Grand Falls): Electrical design for installation of new equipment
  • McCain Foods Limited (Portage La Prairie): Provided site supervision of electrical contractor for installation of new equipment and controls upgrade.
  • J.D. Irving Ltd. (St. Leonard Sawmill):  Responsible for PLC Programming and Commissioning of new Log Handling Equipment.
  • Irving Oil Ltd.: Detailed design of Marshalling System for new Honeywell DCS.
  • Irving Personal Care Ltd.: Electrical and Instrumentation design for a diaper manufacturing facility. This involved the complete design for the power distribution, motor control, instrumentation, control system design and building services. Responsible for PLC and HMI Programming of HVAC system. Also responsible for the construction supervision and commissioning and startup of the plant.
  • Coleson Cove Generating Station: Detailed design of PLC panels and Metering panels.
  • J.D. Irving Ltd. (St. Leonard Sawmill):  Helped with detailed design of high voltage switchgear and design of building extension services (power and lighting). Preparation of equipment purchase specifications and installation quotation packages. Aided with the design of the project construction schedule.
  • Lake Utopia Paper:  Worked on control cable block diagram, performing cable sizing calculations. Helped with revision of single line diagram.
  • Irving Pulp and Paper Limited:  Helped with revision of single line diagram.
  • E&I Engineering Ltd. :  Worked on office Time-Sheet program using Microsoft Access.

  • Working in the Load Research Unit to develop a stratified sample design program to analyze recorded data.
  • Rewrote and tested the program on existing recorded data.
  • Reprogrammed 200 load research meters throughout New Brunswick.
  • Maintained the existing database, containing approximately 1,200 records; updated, combined and deleted records as required.
  • Worked independently and collaborated frequently with senior engineers to develop a load analysis program, completing the program ahead of schedule.
